Bread Makers have become very popular and if you are thinking of getting your own, I definitely recommend model with the automatic dry ingredients dispenser. It comes very handy if you wish to set your machine to work overnight and wake up to a lovely smell of fresh and tasty bread.
This recipe is for my Panasonic Bread Maker SD-255 with Nut & Raisin Dispenser. If your bread maker doesn’t have the automatic dry ingredients dispenser, you can add starred (*) ingredients when your machine will “ask” you to do so.
Here is the recipe for the Spicy Fruit Loaf.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Yeast
- 400 g (14oz) Strong wholemeal flour
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 75 g (3oz) Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Mixed spice
- 2 Medium eggs
- 120 ml Water
- 120 ml Milk
- 150 g Mixed dried fruit *
Layer ingredients in your bread maker in order listed above. Set the ‘Whole Wheat‘, ‘Bake raisin‘ cycle . Select the medium loaf size.
If your bread maker has different settings than Panasonic, here are the processes that my machine runs:
Rest 1 h – 1h 30 min. / Knead 15-20 min. / Rise 2 h 20 min.-2 h 50 min. / Bake 50 min. / TOTAL 5 HOURS
1 tsp Yeast = 1 łyzeczka suchych drożdzy
400 g (14oz) Strong wholemeal flour = 400 g razowej/ ciemnej mąki
2 tsp Sugar = 2 łyżeczki cukru
75 g (3oz) Butter = 75 g masła
1 tsp Salt = 1 łyzeczka soli
2 tsp Cinnamon = 2 łyzeczki cynamonu
1 tsp Mixed spice = 1 łyzeczka przyprawy jak do pierników
2 Medium eggs = 2 średnie jaja
120 ml Water = 120 ml wody
120 ml Milk = 120 ml mleka
150 g Mixed dried fruit * = 150g mieszanki suszonych owoców
Cykl na 5 godzin : Odpoczynek 1 godz. – 1godz. 30 min. / Zagniatanie 15-20 min. / Wyrastanie 2 godz. 20 min.-2 godz. 50 min. / Pieczenie 50 min.
No wlasnie…Dlaczego? Pewnie dlatego ze nie spodziewalam sie zainteresowania ;) Postaram sie w przyszlosci to naprawic.
