Using textile paint you can easily decorate your newly created pillow, making it a fantastic personalized decoration. I use Pelikan Fabric Paint that can be applied  also on dark and colorful fabrics.

Create a pattern or drawing that you want to paint. Draw the outlines of the desired design with a pencil. Paint the outline of your pattern and then use the other colors to fill in the unpainted areas.Now you will need to iron the painted area. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly before ironing! To set the paint you can either  iron on the wrong side of the fabric, without steam – at maximum ironing temperature or  you can try setting it in your oven ( I do it in 140 degrees for 30 minutes watching the fabric carefully).  Best solution is to look up paint producer’s  instructions.  After this process the fabric is washable at 40 °C.Now you can add some additional decorations.  I used sea theme decorative buttons.Ready, two pillows for Patrizia and Gianluigi’s summer house.
